EL PRADO II GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING GPA18-06 & ZON18-07: A request by David Maguire, Land Solutions Inc., to amend the General Plan on a 9.98-acre site from LDR 2.5 (Low-Density Residential, 1-2.5 du/ac) to MDR 3.5 (Medium Density Residential, 2.5-3.5 du/ac). The applicant also seeks to rezone the property from SR-17 (Suburban Residential) to R1-8 PRD (Single-Residence, Planned Residential Development Overlay). The rezoning request includes rezoning an adjacent 1.8-acre portion of the El Prado I development, approved by City Council May 8, 2018, from R1-8 PRD (Single-Residence, Planned Residential Development Overlay) to R1-6 (Single-Residence, Planned Residential Development Overlay).
