Over time, people move, and neighborhoods change. That’s why every ten years, Glendale is required to redraw its City Council districts based on U.S. Census data with a process called redistricting. The goal is to make sure each Council district has approximately equal population. The City of Glendale is seeking public input on proposed district maps, both online and through a series of community workshops. Community workshops can be attended in person or viewed live on the City’s YouTube and Facebook channels where viewers can provide feedback and ask questions of the redistricting consultant. A recorded workshop presentation will be available on the City’s Glendale 11 cable channel and the redistricting webpage.
